Don't guess this part.

Custom PVC Placemats for 4-Seater Dining Tables
A compact four-seater is one of the situations where custom sizing can be particularly useful.
Four-seater doesn't automatically mean small, but many four-seater tables have limited space between neighbouring place settings.
If standard 12 × 18-inch table mats feel crowded, a different dimension may create a cleaner arrangement.
The important measurement isn't simply the total table size.
It's the usable surface available in front of each chair.
Custom PVC Placemats for 6-Seater Dining Tables
Six-seater dining tables vary enormously.
This is why searching only for "table mats set of 6" doesn't necessarily solve the sizing problem.
Two tables can both accommodate six chairs while having completely different tabletop dimensions.
